Samsung officially announced the second dual-SIM phone, the stylish tri-band bar Samsung D780 Duos. Samsung D780 Duos’s main feature is the dual-SIM functionality. The handset is capable of working with two SIM cards simultaneously, both being active in the same time.

Samsung D780 is equiped with a 2 megapixel camera with video recording capabilities and has a screen of 2.1-inch capable of showing up to 256K colors in QVGA resolution. The phone also features Bluetooth v2.0 connectivity with A2DP support and USB v2.0 as well as a microSD card slot for expanding the internal memory capacity. The MP3 player and stereo FM radio are part of the multimedia capabilities of the new neat and stylish phone. Samsung D780 will be powered by the same 1200mAh battery used in the Samsung D880 Duos.

Samsung’s follow-up to its D880, the D780, launched today. Available in Russia from next month, followed by SE Asia, Europe and the Middle East, the candy-bar cell has Dual Standby, meaning you can receive calls to your second number even while taking a call on your first.
